The Syrian Swedish Association

The Syrian Swedish Association is a non-profit, politically and religiously independent association. The association was established in 2012 with the efforts and cooperation of Syrian and Swedish friends, and with the aim of supporting the struggle for democracy in Syria. The association consists of members from different backgrounds and opinions who share a common goal: to support democracy in Syria.

Through political seminars, demonstrations, and cultural evenings, the association works on disseminating information about the Syrian people’s struggle for freedom, democracy and dignity, and raises funds for schools, hospitals and refugees in Syria. The association also financially supports those working to establish democratic movements and institutions in Syria. The association organizes meetings, fundraisings, seminars, cultural days, as well as demonstrations.
